Every diaspora community has solved something another community is still working on.
What changes
What works in one community reaches the next
A youth program in Seattle finds three others running the same model, and a mutual aid group finds the community that solved last year what it faces now. The TDA Foundation makes those introductions on purpose. Hard-won knowledge travels instead of fading.
What we do
We connect communities to each other
We make the connections the map reveals. The record shows who runs what, where, and at what scale, and we turn that into introductions between organizations doing parallel work.
We convene across communities. Ethiopian, Kenyan, Haitian, Bangladeshi, Rwandan, Ugandan, and Eritrean organizations sit in the same rooms and trade what works.
We build shared learning. What one community works out, the TDA Foundation captures and publishes, so the next community starts further along.
