03 What We Do
Diaspora Narratives
Diaspora communities tell their own story, in their own words, on their own terms.

What changes
Your story carries your work forward
Your community holds stories the wider world has yet to hear, and the trust of thousands behind them. The TDA Foundation builds the capacity to tell them, through training, facilitation, and advocacy that carry representation into civic life. Underrepresented stories reach the rooms where decisions get made.
What we do
We train, facilitate, and build the capacity to lead
We train and facilitate. Customized workshops, convenings, and peer learning build the storytelling, governance, and advocacy practice diaspora organizations keep.
We strengthen representation and civic participation. Leaders gain the practice to speak for their communities, advocate for what they need, and take their seat in civic life.
We back the storytellers. Small businesses and diaspora creative spaces carry culture and narrative forward, and we support the people building them.
What this makes possible
Skills that stay
You leave with storytelling, advocacy, and operating practice your organization keeps long after the session ends.
A story you own
Your community's story travels in your own words, current and credible in front of the people you most want to reach.
